My research focuses on biodiversity informatics and plant diversity, with an emphasis on improving the accessibility, interoperability and reuse of biodiversity data. I work on integrating information from scientific collections, monitoring programmes and citizen science to support research and policy, particularly in relation to invasive alien species and biodiversity change.
A key part of my work involves developing and applying methods, standards and infrastructures that enable biodiversity data to be discovered, linked and reused across platforms and disciplines. I contribute to national and international projects that strengthen biodiversity knowledge systems and support evidence-based decisions.
