Do I need to wear a face mask?

A face mask is mandatory in all indoor spaces and crowded places.

Do I need a Covid Safe Ticket?

You don't need a Covid Safe Ticket to visit the Botanic Garden. 

Please note that from 1 November you will need a Covid Safe Ticket in the Orangery.

Can I pay with cash?

You can pay cash everywhere.

Can I come at another time/day than my time slot?

Once you have made a reservation for a time slot, it is not possible to change the time/day (except for valid reasons such as a medical certificate, etc.).

I have a Friends Card (subscription) and can normally enter the estate. Do I still have to make a reservation?

No, holders of a membership card can visit the Botanic Garden without reservation.

Can I visit the Botanic Garden in a group?

Yes, groups can visit the Botanic Garden.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend that you reserve your ticket in advance. If there are still tickets available, you can also buy your ticket on the spot. Friends of the Botanic Garden and holders of a Museum Pass do not need to book in advance.

How does the time slot work?

The time slot you have indicated has nothing to do with the duration of your visit. You must arrive within the time slot but you may stay as long as you like, until the park closes. In this way, we want to ensure a maximum spread of visitors.

Are the greenhouses and the Castle open?

The greenhouses are open every day from 10.30am until 30 minutes before closing. The castle is also open. You can check the opening hours of the Botanic Garden here.

How much time should I allow for a visit?

We recommend that you allow at least half a day for your visit. If you come for a whole day, you can discover even more of the Botanic Garden.

Will I be able to eat something in the Botanic Garden?

Yes, the Orangery restaurant is open.
