Do you dream of an idyllic stay surrounded by nature, far away from the hustle and bustle? A place where you can truly unwind and recharge your batteries?
This summer, you’ll once again have the unique opportunity to spend the night for two in the Botanivan: a charming caravan that has been lovingly converted and furnished in a magical spot in Meise Botanic Garden.
Just imagine: from 6 pm, you’ll have the entire Botanic Garden (92 hectares!) all to yourselves. Stroll together past more than 20,000 plant species, enjoy the impressive greenhouses of the Plant Palace, try out the ‘Marvel at Your Feet’ trail and watch the sun rise over the blooming Rose Garden in the morning. An unforgettable experience!
Practical info & Price
- Price: €170 per night (for 2 people).
- Price for Friends of the Botanic Garden: €140 per night for 2 people.
- Included: Overnight stay in the Botanivan + 1 or 2 days’ access to the entire Botanic Garden (including exclusive access after closing time).
- Capacity: Maximum 2 people. Pets (including dogs) are not permitted.
- Check-in: Between 3.00 pm and 5.30 pm. Our reception team will collect you and take you and your luggage to the Botanivan.
- Check-out: By 11.00 am at the latest.
What is available in the Botanivan?
The caravan is cosily furnished and equipped with all the basic comforts:
- A made-up double bed with a lovely duvet.
- A compact, well-equipped kitchenette with electricity and running water (please note: not suitable for drinking).

- A mini fridge (with freezer compartment)
- A torch and a handy “button key” that allows you to enter and leave the Botanic Garden whenever you like.
- Cosy extras: Board games, mood lighting, a Bluetooth speaker and a comfortable garden set (table and chairs) for relaxing outdoors.
- Bathroom facilities: Toilets and washbasins are available at the nearby gardening shed. There is no shower.
Food & Drink: Breakfast and aperitif hampers
Dinner and breakfast are not included as standard, but you can make your stay extra special with our delicious hampers (to be booked in advance together with your night):
Breakfast hamper (€30 for 2 people)
A well-stocked basket with fresh rolls, pastries, granola, yoghurt, fruit, jam, butter and farmhouse cheese, and including milk and oat milk will be waiting for you at the door of the Botanivan from 8.30 am.
Would you like a gluten-free breakfast?You can let us know after ypu booked your breakfast basket. We will contact you by email regarding this. Please let us know at least one week in advance. (Unfortunately, other allergens cannot be accommodated).
Aperitif basket (€40 for 2 people)
Enjoy artisanal charcuterie, local cheese, homemade crackers, cherry tomatoes and crisps.
Would you prefer a vegetarian option? In that case, we’ll serve homemade vegetable tapenades, olives, capers, homemade crackers, cherry tomatoes and crisps.
Choose your drinks:
All sparkling (2 bottles of 20 cl), a mix (1 bottle of sparkling wine + 1 alcohol-free, or completely alcohol-free aperitifs.
You can communicate your choice of vegetarian/non-vegetarian options or drinks only after you have booked your aperitif basket. We will contact you by email regarding this. Please let us know at least one week in advance.
Dinner:
There are plenty of restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets in the Meise area. You will receive a list of suggestions upon check-in. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own food! ⚠️ Important: Barbecuing and open fires are strictly prohibited. There is a general smoking ban throughout the grounds and in the Botanivan.
What should you bring with you?
- Toiletries and towels.
- Insect repellent (mosquito spray).
- Tip: Your own bike! After closing time (between 6.00 pm and 10.00 am), you can explore the Botanical Garden by bike or go for a lovely ride in the green surroundings. Lovely, isn’t it?
Cancellation & Safety
- Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
- However, safety comes first: in the event of a storm or severe thunderstorm (from RMI code yellow), we will contact you to find a new date together.
