A well-prepared visit is a successful visit!
- Spanning 92 hectares, the Botanic Garden is exceptionally large. It is impossible to see everything in a single visit, so we highly recommend planning ahead. Please keep in mind that walking distances can be considerable.
- Are you booking a workshop or a guided tour? Keep the duration of the activity in mind, and remember that arrival, restroom breaks, and gathering your group all take time. Ideally, set aside a full day for your trip, and allow at least 2.5 hours for any scheduled activity. You are more than welcome to explore the Botanic Garden at your leisure before or after your program.
- Please ensure you arrive on time and allow plenty of leeway for potential traffic delays. For lunch, you can use the (partially covered) picnic areas located at the Pachthof and near the Orangery.
- Are there pupils with physical disabilities in your group? Please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs as best as possible.
- We kindly ask all visitors to Meise Botanic Garden to respect our visitor regulations. For primary and secondary school pupils, we have created a simplified version outlining the key guidelines — perfect for a quick classroom discussion before you head out. This helps ensure a safe and wonderful experience for everyone.
Naturally, we would love to hear what you and your pupils thought of the experience! Your feedback helps us to continuously improve our offer. Please take a moment to complete our survey [link to survey] after your visit.
