A carefree visit: accessibility is key
Accessibility during your visit to the Botanic Garden
The Botanic Garden aims to be a place for everyone. Most of our paths are paved and easily accessible for wheelchair users and people with walkers. The Botanical Garden in Meise covers 92 hectares, and the distances can sometimes be challenging.
For groups with reduced mobility, we recommend the “World Garden” walk. This walk mainly takes you through the Plant Palace, an impressive greenhouse complex. You will travel around the world through various climates and discover plants from all continents.
You will walk comfortably on mostly covered and fully paved paths. This way, everyone can enjoy themselves in peace and without worrying about the distance. Your guide will tell you the stories “behind the plants” at a pace suited to your group.
Would you prefer a different walk from our selection? We can shorten some walks for your group. Let us know when you make your reservation and we will see what is possible.
