From tropical plants in the Plant Palace and the Green Ark, fragrant roses in the Rose Garden, to the wild nature of Wild Meise and the beautiful Dahlgren Arboretum. The historic castle grounds also feature an impressive Island Garden, a rhododendron grove, a Winter Garden and a walled Culinary Garden.

How do you get to the botanical garden?

From Brussels North station, take the direct De Lijn R50 bus (35-minute journey).

The Atomium is just 3 km from the Botanical Garden. The nearest stop is Brussels Brugmann. Take the direct De Lijn R50 bus (13-minute journey time).

The ‘Plantentuin Meise’ bus stop is right next to the Empress Charlotte main entrance.
