Flowers steal the show

Flower Theatre

In the Flower Theatre next to the Orangery you can enjoy hundreds of cultivated varieties and their wild ancestors. The cast are mainly perennials, each of which reaches their peak throughout the year. Camellias are the protagonists just after winter. With more than 150 different varieties, peonies elicit a standing ovation in spring. Roses fill the stage in summer, while sedums provide a final act in autumn. Semi-hardy plants from Mediterranean or subtropical climates are also well represented. Other plants were chosen for their striking scent or colour so that the spectacle lasts all year round.
