A pleasant visit for everyone!

 Accessibility and facilities

At the entrance, there are parking spaces reserved for visitors with a disability card. The person accompanying someone with a disability has free access. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere on the grounds and in the buildings.

Need a wheelchair or walker? You can borrow it for free at our main entrance. Our electric train covers long distances through the estate and lets you enjoy the most beautiful spots. More info can be found here

Next to the cobbled Stately Avenue, a comfort strip has been laid out for wheelchair users and prams. Most paths are paved in dolomite or clinkers. There are wheelchair accessible toilets and changing tables at several points throughout the Botanic Garden.

In the WOOD lab there is a lift, so the upper floor can be visited. The ground floor of the Castle can be visited by wheelchair; the upper floors are not wheelchair accessible.

In the Culinary Garden there are wheelchair ramps, raised planters, and an adapted outdoor kitchen for workshops. Interested in what we offer? Please contact us at info@plantentuinmeise.be. There is also a guided tour for the blind and visually impaired.
