[Science news] - A new movie on the LIFE project "Herbages"

Natagora, the Walloon Public Service (DNF and DEMNA) and Meise Botanic Garden are partners in an ambitious European project in southern Belgium: the LIFE "Herbages" project (LIFE+11NAT/BE/001060).

In addition to the restoration and management of threatened habitats (calcareous grasslands, Nardus grasslands,...), and land acquisitions to increase the network of nature reserves, the project has also implemented the strengthening and scientific monitoring of populations of five plant species that have become so rare that they are likely to disappear from our country in the very near future: dwarf everlast, clustered bellflower, mountain arnica, proliferous pink and maiden pink.

A film highlights the different aspects of the project that took place over 7 years (2013 - 2019)...
